Painting ceiling fan blades.
Once you ve completely finished painting your fan take a moment and let it dry.
Paint a thin coat of primer.
It can get a little tricky painting them because they move.
Doing it this way i could paint the fan by myself.
You can remove the fan from the ceiling and take it outside to spray paint or you can do what i did.
Once it s ready to go spray the blades and or hardware pieces with a thin even coat.
I left the main part of the fan in place and just removed the blades.
Shake the spray can thoroughly before use.
Notice how i only used a small amount of paint on the brush to avoid dripping.
When you spray you want to spray 6 to 8 inches away from the surface and work in a side to side motion across the blade so you get an even coat.
